All lupins used are the Narrow-leafed Lupin (Lupinus Angustifolius) Coromup variety. Coromup Lupins are yellow in colour and have a high protein content. Lupins For Human Consumption
Lupins are becoming highly regarded as a substitute for wheat or soybean. Substituting wheat for only 20% lupin doubles the amount of protein and triples the dietary fibre content. So far lupin flour has been tried and tested in noodles, pasta, biscuits, breads and more.
